Product Name: Jet Black Carbon Black Pigment CBP-85

Description: 15 nm high surface area carbon black for jet black pigmentation, 85% filled in polyolefin

Specifications:

Deep blue jet black carbon black pigment for those special parts which require it.
Granule is clean and easy to handle and will disperse evenly upon let-down providing excellent jet black coverage. The carbon black is fully wetted out and embedded in resin.
The small granules handle and flow well. Loading can be metered in extremely accurately for consistent dosing at any level.
At 85% loading, this masterbatch replaces similar jet-black masterbatches which are only typically only 25% active.
For a typical loading let-down of 1%, total material requirements drop from 4% to 1.2% of final formula, a reduction of 2.8%. Foreign resin (contamination) drops from 3% to 0.2% of final formula, giving compounders more control of their product.

Achieve greater lightweighting with ease using this easy-to-flow and easy-to-handle masterbatch. Sticky, hard-to-handle glass bubbles are turned to granules, which handle and flow like resin pellets.
Glass bubbles are nearly fully preserved in the masterbatch process to maximize end-use lightweighting effect.
Glass bubbles are fully wetted out and embedded in resin. The glass is also sized for maximum compatibility and coupling in polyolefin systems.
At 0.46 g/cc true density, >5% fightweighting can be achieved with less than 10% masterbatch addition.
